All non-profit and charitable foundations are eligible for financial support from V-fonds for
their Freedom Meal. Your organisation can apply for an amount between €350 and €1,000,
depending on the number of people you plan to serve. These funds can be used to enhance
your Freedom Meal event — for example, for beamer rental, hiring a speaker, music,
additional food or drinks, table rentals, and more.
Please note that applications to V-fonds fill up quickly. Each year, V-fonds reserves a fixed
budget for the Freedom Meals, and once this budget is reached, registrations close. We
therefore encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
Applications for Vfonds support will close on 16 March 2026.
How to Submit Your Application to Vfonds
Use the registration form on: https://freedom-meals.com/
If your organisation already has a V-fonds Community Account, you can skip ahead to Step 4.
Follow the instructions in the email from Vfonds to activate your Community Account.
Important Information Before You Apply
- Applications may be submitted in Dutch or English.
- During Step 3 on the V-fonds website, you will see a message stating that you must register with the National Committee 4 and 5 May.
Do NOT follow this instruction!
This step is only for Freedom Meals in the European Netherlands, not for the Caribbean islands.
To register a Freedom Meal on Curaçao, Bonaire, Aruba, St. Maarten, Saba or St. Eustatius, always use the registration form on: https://freedom-meals.com - Please enter all amounts in euros (€) only.
- Using one of our bank account numbers in the form may cause issues.
To avoid this, use the upload option in the application portal:
create a document with your full bank account details, including the SWIFT/IBAN for your bank, and upload this file with your application
